Like Jaqen Hghar, the Apple Watch has many faces.
The possibilities are endless.
To get started, updateyour iPhone to iOS 14 and your Apple Watch to watchOS 7.
Next, launchShortcutson your iPhone.
Youll now pick what trigger you want to use to change your Apple Watchs face.
For the purposes of this example, lets pickTime of Day.
Once youre set, tapNextin the upper-right corner.
If you havent, duck out now and get those initialized.
Then, to add a face to this shortcut, tap on the blue text of the word Face.
Pick whatever face you want to appear when your trigger activates.
Now that youve built your shortcut action, tap onNextin the upper-right corner.
Youll see one final screen that confirms your shortcut.
On it, Id disable Ask Before Running so the trigger/action process is seamless.
Youll get a little warning message, but thats OK. TapDone.
When your shortcut runs, youll get a notification on your Apple Watch that it has done so.
Its a small annoyance, but thats the price we pay for automation.
Thats possible, too.
