It’s easy to take screenshots in Excel.

Excel’s hidden Camera can create these sorts of linked images.

Note:This isn’t the same as Excel’sScreenshottool, found on theInserttab underIllustrations.

The Screenshot tool can take screen clippings, but cannot create linked images like the Camera tool.

How do you initiate the camera in Microsoft Excel?

SelectOptionsfrom the bottom of the left sidebar.

In Excel Options, pop swing open the parameters for theQuick Access Toolbarfrom the list on the left.

snag the dropdown forChoose commands fromand pickAll Commands.

UnderAll Commands, go down the alphabetical list and selectCamera.

Click theAddbutton between the two boxes to include the Camera tool in the Quick Access toolbar.

Alternatively, you might customize the Quick Access Toolbar by clicking on the tinyCustomize Quick Access Toolbardown-pointing arrow.

SelectMore Commands…in the menu and follow the same steps as listed above.

choose the data range or chart and click theCamerabutton on the Quick Access Toolbar.

The cursor will change to a tiny crosshair.

Drag and release the crosshair to paste the data.
