Recently, Apple has essentially released a new iPad multitasking system every two years or so.
Heres what you gotta know about the new Split View features in iPadOS 15.
This will show three different options.
Youll see the app animate and dock itself to the right edge.
The entire iPad home screen is now available to you.
Once chosen, the app will be docked in Split View.
it’s possible for you to now resize the windows using the black bar in the middle.
How to use the new App Switcher in iPadOS 15
iPadOS 15 also overhauls the App Switcher.
You still access it by swiping up from the Home bar and holding on for a second or two.
Here, you’ve got the option to flip through and switch to any Slide Over panel.
This is a new Dock-like panel that appears when you open an app that has multiple windows.
you’re able to also access it by tapping the multitasking menu button.
This is essentially a quick, visual way to switch between multiple windows of the same app.
Globe+Up: Open Apps Switcher.
Globle+Down: Show all open windows for the current app.
Globe+F: Turn the current Split View app into a fullscreen app.
Control+Globle+Left/Right: Tile the current app left or right.
Control+Globe+Down: Replace the current app in Split View.
Globe+Tilde: Go to the next window.
Thanks to the multitasking menu button, things are much simpler.
And voila, both apps are now unpaired.
