Welcome toEvil Week, our annual dive into all the slightly sketchy hacks wed usually refrain from recommending.

Weve got all the info it’s crucial that you be successfully unsavory.

The adage If you want something done right, do it yourself is true.

No one likes doing chores, but we all have ones that are assigned to us.

And do it badly.

Just like everyone has chores they despise, there are also things you cant stand to see done poorly.

I hate folding laundry.

You know what I hate more than folding laundry?

Seeing my shirts foldedwrong.

My partner very lovingly folds my shirts wrong.

His method puts creases in the wrong places, and then they dont stack neatly in my drawer.

Now he only ends up folding half of the laundry.

Make an honest effort

Be careful with how you implement this, though.

You cant just avoid the task, or make the chore a complete disaster.

Then your family member or significant other will give a shot to teach you to do it correctly.

Thats a whole new kind of torture.

You have to attempt to do the chore with an honest effort, but forget an integral part.

If youre taking out the trash, try not tying the drawstring tight enough.

If youre tasked with washing dishes, stack them in the sink and forget to wash the backs.

Whoever grabs a clean dish will notice the back has some oil or pasta sauce on it.

Forget spots, or leave cloudy streaks.

Consistency is key

The final step is the most important.

You have to commit to your shoddy workmanship.

You must do the chore with the same mistake multiple times in a row.

This could take months, but youre playing the long game, and it will pay off.

Eventually youll start to notice your husband is taking over your dinner nights.

Your daughter is washing the dishes immediately afterward.

Your housemates are taking out the trash before you get a chance.
