That wont do anything.
On paper, thefeatureis great, especially if you work with numbers all day long.
In practice, though, Microsofts tool still needs a little refinement.
Its a beta feature right now, so it gets a pass.
(iOS support is coming at some future point.)
And even then, youll need to be an Office Insider to get access to the feature.
Once youve downloaded the app, youll also need to become an Office Insider to get into the feature.
Thats super-easy to do, though.
Just click onthis linkand opt in.

Once your app is updated, open it up and open up a blank spreadsheet.
Youll then see what your cameras viewfinder sees, which shouldnt be much of a surprise.
Spoiler: Youll be seeing this a lot.
How good is Excels tool at importing text?
Well, it depends.
Obviously, the more complicated the spreadsheet youre photographing, the trickier the digital translation is going to be.
Anything more than that, and the tool works better as text-importer than a table-recreation tool, Id say.
