That alone is reason enough for a Presidential candidate to at least have an educated, informed cybersecurity policy.
Lets take a look at their platforms to see if they do.
Hillary Clintons Cybersecurity Policy
Clinton has been knee-deep in security issues for a long time now.
Clintons primary approach to information security is one that focuses on national security interests.
Lets start with Clintons private email servers.
Even so, when it comes to information security, carelessness can have serious repercussions.
Clinton has endorsed an NSA reform billthat would roll back mass surveillance, but publicly spokenagainst Edward Snowdens leaks.
Shes also noted that while she supports NSA reform, she doesnt want it to go too far.
Clintontold Fresh Airs Terry Grossthat, collecting information about whats going around the world is essential to our security.
Even more recently, shecalled for more surveillanceafter the terrorist attack in Brussels.
Instead, she supports a kind of Manhattan Project to help law enforcement break encrypted communications on their own.
Clinton did not voteon the updates to the Patriot Act orthe FISA Amendments Act.
In short, hes outlined nothing.
And we dont know whos doing what.
Inconceivable that, inconceivable the power of cyber.
I am a fan of the future, and cyber is the future.
How do you like that?
