The Ring doorbells internal battery makes it incredibly convenient to use.
Theres no need for external wiring or an expensive visit from the electrician.
that’s a hassle you don’t need.
When that happens, do these things to quickly recharge the battery.
Go toMenu>Devices, and choose the doorbell.
But first, let’s talk about all the latest models.
First, start by removing the face plate.
Now, press the black tab, and slide the battery down.
If you have another battery, slide that one in, to have uninterrupted service.
Plug the micro-USB charger into the battery to charge it up.
When its charging, both the red and green lights with light up.
When only the green light is lit, the battery is fully charged up.
It can take anywhere up to 5 to 10 hours to charge.
Once thats done, follow the above steps but in reverse order.
Side the battery pack into the doorbell until you hear it click in.
Wait for about half a minute as the doorbell powers on.
Then use the star-shaped screw to screw it back in.
Here, you will first need to remove the two star-shaped screws from the bottom.
Then slide the entire doorbell unit up and out of the mounting bracket.
When charging, the front light will show you the charge percentage.
When the light is solid blue, the doorbell is fully charged.
