Rejoice, you candownload Netflix movies and TV showsto watch offline.
When Netflix downloads a movie, its stored in a nondescript folder on your phones built-in storage.
Instead, youll see a folder with a long, seemingly-random number.
Turn on the option to show hidden files and folders, if you havent already.
Long-press the folder and tap the scissors icon to cut it to the clipboard.
Slide out the left-hand panel in Solid Explorer and tap your SD card.
Navigate to the folder you want to store the files in.
Tap the circular clipboard icon in the lower-right corner to paste the files.
Youll need this later.
Delete the label you added earlier so only the number remains.
If youre not familiar with it, weexplain what it is and how to use it here.
There are a few downsides to this method.
First, this will reformat your SD card.
Before you proceed, youll need to back up anything thats on your SD card.
Ideally, youd stick to this with a fresh SD card.
Second, this can slow your whole phone down if youre using a slow SD card.
Internal storage is faster than some SD cards.
Finally, once you adopt an SD card, you should never remove it.
Android will treat your SD card like its part of your phones built-in storage space.
If its already inserted, remove it then reinsert it.
A notification will appear indicating a new drive is detected.
Tap Set Up in this notification.
Tap Use as internal storage. This step will erase the SD card.
Youll now be prompted to move extra data to your new storage.
After you adopt the SD card into your built-in storage, Android will treat it like one big drive.
All your apps will start using the space on your SD card seamlessly, including Netflix.
You wont even notice a difference as you download every single season ofOrange Is the New Black.
