Cell service is something we take for granted, until it’s gone.
Then, select your choice to get to the details screen.
On Android, swipe up on the menu; on iOS, swipe to the end of the options.
Here, tap theDownloadbutton.
Youll see a preview of what you’re about to download.
you’ve got the option to pinch in or out to expand the area.
Once youre happy, tap the Download button.
bring up the Google Maps app and tap yourProfileicon in the top-right.
Go to theOffline Mapssection and choose theSelect your own mapoption.
Select your area, then tap theDownloadbutton.
If you’re on cellular, you may have to tapDownload nowto confirm you want to use mobile data.
In a few moments, the map will be downloaded for offline use.
From here, it’s possible for you to update, rename, or delete the map.
From yourProfile picturemenu, go toOffline maps.
Here, you’ll see a list of all maps.
Tap the three-dotMenubutton on any map toUpdateorRenameit.
I recommend renaming your downloaded maps so they are easily recognizable.
