Then you could choose a shipping method or find an Amazon locker to drop the item off with.
The return will be authorized, and the authorization will have to be printed and sent with the item.
Walmart
Walmart extends their return policy around the holidays, understanding that many purchases are gifts.
Like Walmart, they extend these return policies around the holidays beginning on December 26.
You also cant add to the balance of an MRC.

Macys
With a few exceptions, Macys has a pretty long return policy,offering180 days.
With a gift receipt, you could get a refund in store credit for any item.
Without proof of purchase, there still seems to be room for negotiating:

You may still be eligible for store credit for the items lowest selling price within the last 180 days.
This is probably based on the presumption that the item is in good condition/unused.
They allow you to print out a pre-paid shipping label, which is convenient.
Then theyll notify you when the product arrives, and send back the electronic gift card.
Returns receive a gift card within 60 days of purchase.

And if your item was shrink-wrapped?
As soon as you open it, it becomes ineligible for return.Buyer beware.
