So Ive developed a schedule that lets me do my best work at the times I work best.
I solve more problems between 6:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. than I do the entire rest of the day.
However, you might stillstructure your day to allow you to work in tandem with your bodys natural rhythms.
Maybe you sleep in as late as possible and dont shower/get dressed until your lunch break, for example.
(Just check that you dont have any Skype calls scheduled.)
Whatever it is, give it your best work time.
Dont know what your most important project is?
If you still cant decide, just pick one and start working.
Closing my inbox in the morning, while I work on my most important projects, makes sense.
Figure out what admin boundaries make sense for your workdayand then set them.
Dont forget the most important boundary:closing your email at the end of the workday.
Specifically, youre going to wanta schedule that lets you know what youre doing next.
So schedule your day.
So give yourself a schedule and see where it gets you.
It doesnt matter if you havent found the best-and-most-optimized routine yet.
Then use what you learn to adjust your schedule.
Take breaks
Maybe youre aPomodoran.
Maybe youre a postprandial walker.

And then get to work.
