Every week, we share cool productivity tips from our favorite experts.
Today, youre stuck with me instead.
Lets talk about the cool new stuff instead.
Over the last year, Ive spent more time building up my physical workspace more than my digital one.
Ive started using theElenco SL-5station and afine point ironfor detailed work.
Ive also made use of AdafruitsPro Trinketin a recent Arduino project where I dont need to re-use the board.
It takes up minimal space and you’ve got the option to program it with a micro-USB cable.
Its perfect forsmall, one-off, specialized projects.
Ive also started usingthis Yubi towerfor charging my gadgets during the day.
Now that everyone can use it, though, guess what? Its pretty awesome.
Ive started using the multiple desktops feature regularly, and even found someWindows 10 apps that are worth using.
Whats your workspace setup like?
Its also where I keep my pile of junk that I shouldve cleared off two weeks ago.
Whats your best time-saving shortcut or life hack?
No, seriously, you should try it.
Besides your phone and computer, what gadget cant you live without and why?
My pressure cooker has skyrocketed to the top of this list.

None of these were terribly difficult tasks, but I didnt know how to do them before.
What do you listen to while you work?
Ive lately started browsing around Spotifys collection of curated playlists for our new Featured Playlist series.
Im also pretty fond of Play Musicsmood-driven playlists.
Even if I do inevitably end up on the Superhero Soundtracks station.
What are you currently reading?
Whatever tickles my fancy onMarvel Unlimited, which is stilltotally worth it.
Unless youre waiting for Secret Wars to end.
Which was also pretty great, by the way.
How do you recharge?
Solo content in MMOs.
Yes, thats right.
Weirdly, I find them soothing.
Once you get the hang of a class in an MMO, solo content is mostly just busy work.
It doesnt require a ton of thought or effort to grind through a basic quest chain.
Whats your sleep routine like?
Usually I go to sleep some time before I wake up in the morning.
I find this works better than the other way around.
Fill in the blank: Id love to see _________ answer these same questions.
Hes pretty cool.Oh, wait!

Also, its okay to get paid.
That feels like a stupid thing to say, right?
If you are doing anything more complicated than retail work, negotiate your damn salary.
If you work hard on making something that another person would pay money for, get it.
Its their job to get the best deal they can.
You only have to make your work cheap enough forsomeoneto buy it.
Not for everyone to buy it.
Is there anything else youd like to add that might be interesting to readers and fans?
You guys are cool.
If youre ever at a con or something in Atlanta, say hey.
Lets get a drink or something.
