Comic Con Festival in Baltimore 2010

The Baltimore Comic Con show is considered to be the younger brother ofSan Diego Comic Convention. The first Comic Con lasted only one day and was held at the Sheraton Hotel in the Baltimore. This has now become a 2-day affair and the venue shifted to the Baltimore Convention Center in downtown Baltimore. Notting Hill Carnival 2010

The Notting Hill Carnival is an annual event which since 1964 has taken place on the streets of Notting Hill, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea , London. The event is held each August, over two days and is led by members of the British African-Caribbean community, particularly the Trinidadian and Tobagonian British population or ‘Trinis’, many of whom have lived in the area since the 1950s. Other than a little patty shrinkage, the burger look essentially the same. A few years ago, atwelve-year-old McDonald’s burgersurfaced that looked shockingly well-preserved. Prepared with grill seasoning (salt, black pepper). There are other evidences of McDonalds indestructible burgers. University of Nottingham chemistry professor Martyn Poliakoff dunk the whole thing in a vat of concentrated hydrochloric acid. The hydrochloric acid in the stomach is very diluted. But see what happens when you put the burger in concentrated hydrochloric acid....

The Grand Canyon of Verdon

At the end of the canyon, the Verdon river flows into the artificial lake of Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon. The limestone walls, which are several hundreds of meters high, attract many rock climbers. Tomatina Festival 2010, Spain

Tens of metric tons of over-ripe tomatoes are thrown at each other in the streets during this day. The week-long festival features music, parades, dancing, and fireworks among other things. On the night before, participants of the festival compete in a paella cooking contest. This festival started in a casual way in 1945, but wasn’t officially recognized until 1952.
