Heres how to be a little more prepared.
So in November we change from daylight time to standard time.
Specifically, daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2023.
Thats when the clocks fall back.
(In the spring, they “spring forward,” get it?)
If youre changing your clocks manually, 2 a.m. becomes 1 a.m.
These days, Im more likely to use the time change as an assist to my morning routine.
If youre more of a morning person, this may be a bit less pleasant.
Youre going to fall asleep watching TV in the eveningearlier than you usually do, anyway.
Most importantly: theyll get hungry (and everything else) an hour earlier than usual.
If you think ahead, you might start moving breakfast time later.
You get the idea.)
And if you expect your own tummy to be grumbling on cue?
Your evening workout or your evening commute will be darker and colder than before.
You may also want to bring a flashlight or wear a headlamp.
Here’s one I recommend.
Soon youll be locked on to your new scheduleat least until our next time change in the spring.
