Check your calendar
smack the clock on Windows and you’ll see a calendar.
This is a feature macOS hasn’t copied for reasons I don’t understand.
That’s why I recommendItsycal, a tiny free app thatevery Mac user needs.
It’s a great addition to any menu bar.
That’s why I’m happy Applefinally offers weather updates in the menu bar.
it’s possible for you to click any city to open it in the Weather app.
The feature isn’t enabled by default, though, and is a little bit buried.
you oughta openSystem options, then head toControl Center.
You’ll now see the weather in your menu bar.
I’m glad I can have this without the need to install a third party app.
The applicationTheretakes care of this by letting yousee the time where your co-workers are.
Just set up the tool and add the co-workers you want to track, along with where they live.
There’s even the option to add photos, if you want.
you might also copy the address, or pop pop the location in your preferred maps tool or website.
you’ve got the option to even leave emojis for emphasis or use Markdown to create clickable links.
Get a Windows-style start menu
Do you wishmacOS had a Windows-style start menu?XMenuis basically that.
With it you might add icons for your documents, applications, and other folders.
nudge the icons and you’ve got the option to browse everything in those folders, including subdirectories.
It’s a quick way to jump to applications or files without having to open a Finder window.
With it you canclean up the Mac menu barby hiding applications you don’t need to reference often.
you’re free to click an icon anytime to see the icons you’ve decided to hide.
