Heres a quick look at our three favorite apps and extensions for YouTube Music.
After opening the Vox app, use the keyboard shortcutCommand + Uto bring up a text box.
Simply paste in the YouTube link for the video whose music you want to hear, and press Enter.
Vox will instantly start streaming the audio from the YouTube link.
Once your queue is built up, select all the tracks and right-click to bring up the context menu.
Now, go to the Copy to Collection section, and choose the Create New Collection option.
you could think of Vox Collections as playlists.
Once created, theyll show up in the Collections tab.
you’re able to repeat this process to create multiple collections.
As a music player goes, Vox is pretty feature-rich.
Youll find menu bar shortcuts, equalizer, standard playback controls, and more.
However, to gain support for media control keys, youll have to install theVOX media control extension.
This will hard-link VOX with the media keys on your keyboard and headphones.
Additionally, all the regular features for YouTube Music are present and available.
Personally, Im a fan of the YT Music apps Dock icon options.
