Starting this year, Apple will no longer make their signature leather cases for iPhones.
Instead, the company launched a fabric-based alternative called FineWoven.
These cases still cost $59, andbased on reviews, they range fromokay, to terrible.
Thankfully, many suitable alternatives exist.
Nomad
Nomads Modern Leather case, made using Horween leather, is now a classic.
Its an exceptionally well-made case, using minimally treated leather sourced from the USA.
The case comes with drop protection up to eight feet, aluminum buttons, and is compatible with MagSafe.
Plus, the $50 version adds a new color option called English Tan.
Both cases also come in a folio style, if thats your thing.
The cases are made using long-lasting premium leather from the Netherlands in Europe.
Caudabe
Caudabespecializes in minimalist leather cases.
I think their blue and purple leather cases look especially great on the iPhone 15.
Their Sheath series focuses on a lightweight design, and costs $40.
Their Synthesis series comes with a hard-back shell with shock-absorbing polymer for just a dollar more.
Its the cheapest leather case on this list, so its the one to go for value.
Torro
Torrostarts with a leather case, then adds features and alotof stitching.
They come in a couple of different styles.
First, theres the regular Bumper case with colored stitching at the edges.
Then, theres a vertical flipping leather case.
Plus, it supports MagSafe charging.
