Late Summer Is the Best Time to Start Running

OK, got it?

No need to read the rest of this postjust lace up and get out of here.

Running is whatever you want it to be.

How to Run Hills Without Crushing Your Confidence

Whats important is working with what youve got.

(If you dare, ditch the app altogetherand measure your runs by distanceortime, but not both.)

Your assignment, for this month: Put yourself on a schedule, and stick to it.

Like the more advanced folks, you should pick a focus for this month.

Right now, it doesnt know.

You probably have two speeds right now: walking and sprinting.

You have a couple options:

Just walk.

If this feels too easy, walk faster, or walk uphill.

Walk, but add some short sprints every few minutes.

This doesnt really teach you to slow down, but hey, maybe youre a sprinter at heart.

Alternate running and walking for as long as youd like your workout to last.

Jog, and take walking breaks.

you might do all three of the above, of course.

Not sure where to start?

No, youdont need to stretch first.

No, youdont need any special clothes(besides asports bra, if applicable).
