A heads up about the tricky parts
POWER and BATTERY do not go together.
This puzzle is using BATTERY in its older sense, to mean a SERIES.
(And no, TEE and FLY do not refer to baseball.)
Purple is a fill-in-the-blank with an animal theme.
What are the categories in todays Connections?

What are the yellow words in todays Connections?
The yellow grouping is considered to be the most straightforward.
What are the green words in todays Connections?
The green grouping is supposed to be the second-easiest.
What are the blue words in todays Connections?
The blue grouping is the second-hardest.
What are the purple words in todays Connections?
The purple grouping is considered to be the hardest.
Maybe SUNGLASSES is in the mix?
A SERIES is like an ARRAY.
Thinking mathematically now, thats a SET.
And thinking slightly archaically, we can have a BATTERY, as in a BATTERY of tests.
WILL, DESIRE, POWER, and RESOLVE can all describe ones determination.
Thats one away, and I realize I didnt include DRIVE.
Surely its in there somewhere.
So close, and yet Im not getting anywhere.
RADISH especially puzzles me.
It contains the word DISH, but aside from SUNGLASSES, I dont see any partners.
Could it be a fill-in-the-blank?
Im coming up blank.
DESIRE, DRIVE, RESOLVE, WILL.
Im desperate and guessing, but Im also correct.
I guess again for the summer clothes.
Take out SHOE, add SUNGLASSES.
Thats a hit too.
What do RADISH, FLY, POWER, and SHOE have in common?
Youll see a game board with 16 tiles, each with one word or phrase.
Your job is to select a group of four tiles that have something in common.
Select four items and hit the Submit button.
If you guessed correctly, the category and color will be revealed.
(Yellow is easiest, followed by green, then blue, then purple.)
If your guess was incorrect, youll get a chance to give it another spin.
You win when youve correctly identified all four groups.
But if you make four mistakes before you finish, the game ends and the answers are revealed.
Expect to see overlapping groups.
So dont hit submit until youve confirmed that your group of four containsonlythose four things.
