This week I paid $121 for a monthly unlimited-ride Metrocard.

I will travel to three different supermarkets to save a quarter on yogurt.

I scrutinize my cell phone bill for pesky hidden fees.

Yet Ive been content to pay full-price for transportation for the past decade.

(Why $80, you ask?

Because its less than $100 and therefore feels likes less of a commitment.

As if the subway costs less if I pay for it in smaller increments!)

And if I take more than 44 trips, each trip will cost me that tiniest bit less.

This may be the final bit of incentive I need to give up my burgeoning Lyft habit.

Now I just have to confirm I dont lose the Metrocard.

Ive avoided to-do list apps for forever.

Not surprisingly, I have not been the most organized.

This was fine when I was a full-time creative and my disorganization was expected and adorable.

(Maybe not adorable.)

I can compose neat and comprehensible lists for everything I have to do in every aspect of my life.

I enjoy the satisfying ding!

as another to-do gets to-done.

(I chose the puppy.)

I introduced two Twitter bots to each other.

@muted_mountainscreates images of surreal landscapes, and@I_Find_Planetsdescribes fictional worlds if you ask it nicely.

I have absolutely no good explanation as to why I didnt do this sooner.

Overall it has made my editing process more efficient and enjoyable.

I gotsome house slippers, and they are my new favorite thing.

But best of all, they are not shoes.

I also just bought slippers.

Patio slippers for guests.

$3 knockoff Crocs.

I keep them in the patio.

(Not to copy Claires upgrade.)

I dont want people walking in and out with their shoes.
