His next project,Reservation Dogs(August 9), promises to bring that same spirit of representation and discovery to America.

The series, co-created by Native American filmmkaer Sterlin Harjo, is set on a reservation in rural Oklahoma and stars four Indigenous American kids who engage in petty crime (and fight it, too), modeling their antics and snappy sartorial choices on the Quentin Tarantino filmReservoir Dogs.
