Located on Tasmanias Freycinet Peninsula, Wineglass Bay is one of the most photogenic beaches in Australia.

The beach itself is 1.7 km long and curves round in a northeast-facing arc.
Waves are relatively low averaging 50 cm to 1 m in height and decreasing into the southern corner.
